An article written by ChargePoint Technology's Senior Manager of Technical Sales, Michael Avraam, has been published in the August issue of PMPS magazine.  Michael Avraam has over 20 years of experience within the pharmaceutical and process containment industry and uses this experience to provide training, technical advice and support to ChargePoint Technology's global sales management team.

The article looks at the development of the Split Butterfly Valve, the differences in design, how the valve operates and where future development is headed.  It also discusses how the valve has been adapted to cope with a number of different applications including reactor charging and cytotoxic product handling.  The article explores the various options for cleaning the valve and the pros and cons of using flexible vs. rigid containers.
